ASA X SCAD STARTUP
SCAD StartUp is a yearly event where students are given seven days to create a startup business based around the theme, “creating a home.” We interpreted this as “community is what makes where you live feel like home.” We then created asa, a social platform that bridges the gap between consumers and businesses building a stronger community.
To launch asa, we created a campaign to collect data directly from the community. We asked consumers what is missing in their neighborhoods, and by downloading the asa platform they can vote on their favorite experiences. Asa will then launch the ten most popular ideas as micro-events around the city to gain exposure and build the community.
OOH
We then created a series of real time automated out of home ads in heavily foot trafficked areas that present the features of asa. Utilizing location data, weather services and community preferences asa will make recommendations based on the vicinity of the experience to the billboard, the temperature that day, and typical activities enjoyed by members of each community.
